Ginseng while mushroom hunting. I didn't! I am of the opinion that it just doesnt exist around my parts here in missouri. But if i can ever come up with some seed i will plant it around here. I found some excellent spots to plant it.

No, but it normally doesn't come real early and where I mushroom hunt is not good ginseng areas.

Not good around here either. Years ago I found one ginseng plant, and checked around that area a long time afterwards, but no luck. It likes the Ozarks and limestone, and we sure don't have much rock of any kind here in the bottoms.

We have alot of limestone rocks around here. It should be every where!

Haven't seen any around Knob Noster either. Lived and hunted here for the last 20 years and have never seen it or heard of anyone finding any. Land around here kinda sucks.
