I loaned a 220 victor to a fellow a few years back for coons in his attic. I told him he could return the trap after he was through. About 5 years later I retrieved that trap from the attic(after bringing it up to him several times)and the trap was still set. The trap springs felt as strong as they always had, but I still store mine unset.

farmnhunter: If you want to avoid feline, you can't use any meat or fish item or scent. Try a piece of black licorish covered by dairy feed, or lucky charms or corn/koolaid (mix 1 qt whole corn with a package of grape koolaid)
