Thought it went well, had a great time, met some nice folks; can't wait to do it again! My grand son told my wife "at first it was really boring and then he started doing fur and it was really interesting."
Cletis, something wrong with that girl's camera: she made me look fat in every pic. (so OK I am fat, she done good)
For those of you who couldn't make it today; CO Andy Barnes stoped by for while to answer questions about regs and seasons etc. Talked a bit about the two day hands on clinic he does every Oct. at Talbot CA. He mentioned a need for more instructors, maybe you want to lend a hand. Cletis gave some very instructional furhandling demos with coon, otter and cat. He showed a few little tricks to get better results and made fleshing an otter look easy.
Thanks a lot Cletis for all you're doing for the District 5. I know you mentioned wanting to meet in a more central location, but I was happy to be inside out of the wind today and having the skining machine, beam etc. already in place made the demos that much better.

farmnhunter: If you want to avoid feline, you can't use any meat or fish item or scent. Try a piece of black licorish covered by dairy feed, or lucky charms or corn/koolaid (mix 1 qt whole corn with a package of grape koolaid)
