Them two teenagers I brought with me are sparked for trapping season. They were wiffing lure on the way home and want me to make a list of gear they will need for trapping season. I will prolly just wind up giving them some of my old stuff. Brandon wants to clear out a shed at home and get a fleshing beam.(I'm telling them there is $ in finishing fur) He lives on a pretty big creek that I would love to have permission on but thats "his".

Another great day, and a great clinic. Thanks to all that helped out, and a special thanks to the local sporting goods supply dealer (named E&?, someone help me out). Having a local trap supply dealer actively participate is a HUGE bonus, and they were pretty cool folks to boot!
The BEST thing that came out of this is the participation and the promise of help in the future to keep activities like this happening in the western part of out District. It's lookin' good. Go get 'em Dustin- you survived the first one.
What a long day- we drove almost another three hours into Kansas to take fur to Lee Stienmeyer. A good trip, but I didn't get home until midnite (and Jim and Dave were later yet, Dave by far). Still, it's what we do, and after the last week and-a-half I needed a break.
Again, thanks to everyone that participated.

farmnhunter: If you want to avoid feline, you can't use any meat or fish item or scent. Try a piece of black licorish covered by dairy feed, or lucky charms or corn/koolaid (mix 1 qt whole corn with a package of grape koolaid)
