Has anyone tried to straighten out the hump in a coni jaw that is supposed to retain the springs? Got some 220's I'd like to make square and wide open when set. Just curious if anyone had done it.

To me you would be better off get a different trap I understand what your trying to do but you would destroy the trap trying to mod it like that Just my 2cents

They are probably made from spring steel, and technically shouldn't "bend". Hit one with a lawn mower however, and they bend. A lot.

ROBLBO!!!!!! Now Dale, I figured a sophisticated and long time trapper wouldn't let their kids play with potentially dangerous toys. A guy could lose some income like that! He he he he!
