The smelly-est coon bait ever: About a half gallon of minnows. Fill jars (glass is best) half way with minnows and bury at least four inches underground. Leave it for a at least three months. CAREFULLY dig it up and enjoy. Good at any set.

Brian Cunningham makes a coyote/fox bait from grasshoppers that is pure-D disGUSTING. And it works.
The trick is, "winners and losers " thread nonwithstanding, there are more things that will catch critters than there are that won't. Loaction, location, location. That's it. Then set a trap where they're gonna put their foot. It's that easy.

Dale thats how i caught my first and only fox- location,location, location- not a drop of bait, lure, or urine.. just a trap,stake, and couple of sticks-

I'll guarantee we make it harder than it generally is. Think "pan & paw". You'll catch more critters.
